Sedu Revolution Styling Iron

   Update : I got the new Sedu revolution iron in 1.5 plates for longer thicker hair and the complete kit for Xmas off Folica.Allure rated this with its nifty award banner and I thought this iron must be something.I saw continuous raves on blogs and websites that I thought this iron would be the start of a new iron revolution .Its  not even near the original version. I'm not too impressed by the  curved shape of the new irons nowadays.I know it's useful to do curls, flips, and all kinda dos, but stick straightening kinda not as easy due to shape of the plates.The straightening new version results are pretty cool.

Pro:

• Floating plates . No, not literally. No, hair damage or catching hair.
• Smooth and sleek results.
• Glides down hair with ease in a different way than original plates do.

• My scalp doesn't have that burned feeling.

• I have noticed not much damage even when I've gone over three times down my hair .So, they aren't off on that part on the damage aspect. I have noticed my hair has major shine and gleam to it with this iron.The iron is pretty cool in some aspects and cools down after awhile, the light turned blue.

I mean there's good and bad it's not horrid iron as  to why I slacked off returning the iron.

Cons:

• The revolution doesn't do the roots too great.

• The revolution has a curved shape to do multi styles rather then the original Sedu flat's plates which doesn't really do smooth stick straight hair.  Why? It's due to shape and the curve of the iron.The iron has have moving plates to prevent hair dents and snags which drew my attention, but doesn't really smooth the roots or ends that hot.

• Plus, I have to go slow and down two or three times on the hair with the revolution which to me is kinda not that great as I'm someone who wants to be done and over as I'm a busy female. The original I go slow down the hair once and done.

• Yet, I have to turn the temperature down as this iron is pretty hot , but there is some frizz effect which is why I find myself going over more than once on my hair not only for straightening , but frizz..The original is way superior in straightening results and smoothing due to the flat shape which glides down the hair.

• Also, the original,makes the hair more softer and cleaner appearance of hair .Well,the revolution does sleeker effect and doesn't get my roots straight. I mean this iron does really defrizz and flatten course curly hair, but the shape leaves a funny bump near my roots as I'm more into just going straight styles.Though, it does do all kinda nifty hairstyles and curls quite easy . Also, stylish sleek like the stars in movies and shows. The flat iron does smooth quite things out. It's a revolutionary wonder.

Positive aspect  is..........

    It's good, but all to the individual.   I use this when I want a sleeker look or make my hair more with umph or movement.

The Folica company was wonderful as they gave me samples of shampoos and conditioners with my Sedu revolution styler iron where I ordered mine .Also, the kit which came with the iron.I waited for the holiday to get this which is great to get gadgets and all sorts you score sales.Plus, add I had a member coupon that's how I ended up getting it as the original price is ungodly.I'm past thirty days and can't return the appliance which is a total iff, but it's my doing lol.Anyways, I'm going to sell it later on when I have the time if I don't feel the need to keep it .So, be sure to return any appliance before the date if unsatisfied with results. Also, register warranties for you're hair gizmos and other appliances.
