My review:It doesn't work on curly thick hair. My hair did not smooth out at all . The device got tangled a couple times . I humoured myself and used this in different ways on my hair just to see what would happen. The results were 'blah'. The functions were easy to use, but didn't work on my hair type. Perhaps, might work on other hair types, but not mine. The results were that of poodle hair. LOL. I use to use OLD round brushes years ago that heated up before I started ironing my hair. I figured when I first bought this device that it work WAY better then the old stand bys because of the gemstone's. My old stand bys didn't have any ceramic gemstone's. So, I was tempted just to see if I could use this on alternative days I don't feel like ironing and the results weren't worth while. Im sticking with my comb/brush dryer as brush dryers like this don't work to smooth my hair type.I returned this product asap. The brush might work on you're hair , but not mine.

My review:
My review. I was like "hmm instyler LOL cheaper". I was kinda disappointed when my Instyler went out . So, I went into the store looking for similiar iron device of an iron with a brush. The device is pretty cool as you can remove the brush parts off. I found having one brush on the iron . Instead , of the two works better on my hair. Except, there's a timer.....and you have a certain amount of time to iron you're hair . The device will go off . Well, you're ironing you're hair which is not very great on my part and then you have to turn it on . The gunk on you're iron then smokes as you restart the iron up. I guess it's a good safety feature, but doesn't feature me. My hair looked thicker and more natural then a flat iron. I was impressed with the results. You have to be carefull when you do you're hair and make sure it's combed out before running the iron through you're hair. Unless, you want a free cut. The only problem is the turning device is not that "cute". The rotating barrel has tore some of my hair length off which is problemetic when my hair doesn't grow fast like repunzels. The button device is tricky and you have to be hand cordinated which I am , but I rather have something much easier like the Instyler then just swipes down you're hair. The good aspect is it does volumize.
